Zoltar The Magnificent was formed by Dan Macmillan and Barnzley in 2002 in London’s Soho. A deliberately disruptive entity, it was created in an effort to upset what the pair consider ‘an otherwise boring London’.
A clothing store and book shop, an installation and an art gallery, it has exhibited the work of Dan Macmillan and Marlon Richards, famed photographer Mick Rock and New York surrealist painter Robert Hawkins.

The Zoltar clothing range (designed by Macmillan and Barnzley) features lavishly embroidered sorority jackets, corduroy bondage trousers plus the full range of the infamous Zoltar T- shirts.

To supplement the Zoltar line designers Bella Freud and Anita Pallenberg have both added their won unique creations. Zoltar are also renowned for what they consider ’Fashion Terrorism.’

Confrontational, combative and cutting edge Zoltar is in many ways really quite magnificent.

This leather-bound and embossed book forms as retrospective volume to the collaborations and machinations of this art, fashion and design duo.
