In these photographs, Silvia Camporesi explores the city of Venice through the filter of her imagination and dreams. Churches drown into water, the Grand Canal is surrounded and transformed by the fog, and legends appear suddenly in the photographs. This Venice is neither real nor unreal, it is rather a surreal ʻthirdʼ place, however one that we clearly recognise.
There will be a book signing with artist and author Silvia Camporesi at the Rencontres d'Arles photofestival
